Official : Former Brighton & Hove Striker David Ajiboye Joins Sutton United
Published: May 28, 2019
Through a statement on their official website, National League side Sutton United have announced the capture of promising Nigerian striker David Ajiboye.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a remarkable season with Worthing, ending the 2018-2019 campaign with 16 goals to his name.
Ajiboye's brilliant form for the Isthmian League Premier Division club earned him a call-up to the FA Representative XI team for a friendly against Bedfordshire FA last month.
Speaking on the deal, Sutton United manager, Matt Gray said : ''I’m delighted to welcome David as my first signing.
''He’s a young, hungry player, which is exactly what I’m looking for. He offers pace and power, can play on the wing or through the middle, and as his record last season shows also carries a real goal threat.''

Ajiboye previously represented the youth teams of Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton & Hove and Millwall.
