Tottenham Hotspur Continue Running The Rule Over Nigerian Striker Ahead Of Potential Transfer
Tottenham Hotspur remain interested in signing Derbyshire-born Nigerian wonderkid Kion Etete in the summer transfer window, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The Notts County youngster was in the Spurs squad that traveled to the Netherlands for the Under-19 Terborg Tournament between Friday and Sunday, June 2.

Tottenham U19 coach ran the rule over Etete during the tournament in which he figured in every single game played by the North London club.

The 17-year-old started twice against Flamengo (group and third place playoff) and came off the bench in matches against Midtjylland, Ajax Cape Town and Vitesse.

He trialed with Spurs in March 2019, scoring a brace in a 5-3 victory over West Ham in the U18 Premier League.

Last season, Etete made four appearances for Notts County in the League Two and also featured for the first team in the FA Cup and EFL Trophy.

He has not ruled out the possibility of representing the Nigerian National Teams in the near future.
