Liverpool Icon Gerrard Urges Rangers New Boy Ojo To Play With Fearlessness
Published: June 19, 2019Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has urged Sheyi Ojo to play with fearlessness after joining Scottish giants Rangers on a season-long loan on Tuesday.
Rangers are his fifth loan club following spells with Wigan Athletic,
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham, and last season in French Ligue 1
with Stade de Reims.
''Just to be myself,'' Ojo told RangersTV when asked of the advice given to him by Gerrard.
''When I'm playing myself, playing consistent and hopefully injury free, then everything sort of goes well. I just haven't had that consistency.
"With Rangers this season, it's just to play how I've always played – play freely and just enjoy my football.''
