Leicester City Make Transfer Decision On Ndidi Amid Links To Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal
Published: June 23, 2019
Leicester City are unwilling to sell Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi in the summer transfer window, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
The central midfielder has been linked with a move to all the big clubs in the Premier League, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all credited with an interest in the Nath Boys Academy product.
Having said that, this website can authoritatively reveal that no official bids have been submitted by the clubs even though they are genuinely interested in adding him to their ranks.
Leicester City will not allow Ndidi, who is valued in the region of 60 million euros, leave the King Power Stadium before the close of the transfer window because it does not make business sense.
The Foxes are believed to be working on a deal to sign Youri Tielemans and the Belgian central midfielder is more expensive than Ndidi, a negative earnings for the club if the Nigerian is transferred and they manage to win the race for the services of the Monaco man.
In addition, it would be difficult for the King Power Stadium outfit to sign a capable replacement for the former Genk wonderkid because there are few players with his qualities and their services don't come cheap.
The Super Eagles number 4 is contracted to Leicester City until June 30, 2024.
