Reading In Talks To Sign Former Nigeria U17 Invitee
Published: June 28, 2019Championship outfit Reading are exploring ways to sign Nigerian midfielder Ovie Ejaria, according to reports.
Football Insider says The Royals have opened talks to sign the Liverpool starlet and are confident of getting the green light from the Anfield club.
The former Golden Eaglets invitee spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading, making 16 appearances in the English second-tier and scoring one goal.
Another loan move to Reading is on the cards for the 2017 England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder.
It is thought that Ejaria is not in the plans of Liverpool first-team manager Jurgen Klopp for the forthcoming season with the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ahead of him in the pecking order of midfielders.
In recent seasons, the Arsenal Academy product has been loaned out to Sunderland and Rangers in Scotland.
