Official : Former Manchester United & Manchester City Midfielder Joins Danish Club Randers On Loan
Published: July 02, 2019
Danish Superliga side Randers FC have bolstered their attack by signing Nigerian youngster Tosin Kehinde on a season-long loan move from Portuguese setup CD Feirense.
Despite being offered the opportunity to extend his stay at Manchester United at the end of the 2017-2018 campaign, Kehinde made a shock transfer to CD Feirense and it has not worked out for him as he has yet to make his professional debut at the age of 21.
Kehinde, who began his career in England with Manchester City, wants to prove himself at Randers in the new season.
Speaking to the official website of Randers, he said : ''The last season did not go as hoped, so I came to Randers with a hunger for playing football, because that is the way you develop.
''There are good opportunities in Randers FC for a young player like me. I have heard very well about Danish football in general, and I look forward to showing the fans what I can on a football field''.
Tosin trained for the first time with his new teammates on Tuesday morning and will play with the number 21 kit.
He was invited to train with Nigeria's Olympic National team in March 2019 ahead of the U23 AFCON qualifiers against Libya.
