Confirmed : Liverpool Announce Capture Of A Premier League Record Holder
Published: July 28, 2019Through their official website, European champions Liverpool have confirmed the capture of Harvey Elliott from Fulham.
The financial terms and length of contract signed by the midfielder have not been disclosed by The Reds.
Aged 16 years and 30 days, Elliot became the youngest player to feature in the Premier League on May 4, 2019 when he replaced André Zambo Anguissa in the 88th minute against Wolverhampton Wanderers, breaking the record previously held by Matthew Briggs.
Born in Surrey, he has represented England at U15, U16 and U17 levels.
He started his career at the youth team of Queens Park Rangers before joining the Fulham Academy.
Elliott has been named in the Liverpool squad for the friendly against Napoli in Edinburgh on Sunday.
