Done Deal : Former Real Madrid Striker Omoigui Moves To Belgian Club
Belgian First Division A side Royal Excel Mouscron have completed the signing of former Real Madrid starlet Cedric Omoigui.

The 24-year-old striker has penned a three-year contract that will keep him at Royal Excel Mouscron until the summer of 2022.

Omoigui will be familiar to Nigerian fans as he was invited to train with the Flying Eagles by coach John Obuh in 2012 and was called up to a Nigeria U23 training camp by Samson Siasia in December 2014.

The Benin City-born attacker has recently plied his trade for Spanish Segunda Division outfit CF Fuenlabrada, scoring 11 goals in 27 games last season.

After leaving the youth team of Real Madrid, Omoigui spent a decade at Mallorca until 2018 and played on loan at Valencia during the 2015-2016 season.

Royal Excel Mouscron, who drew their opening match of the season vs KSV Roeselare, face Anderlecht  in their next league match on Sunday, August 4.
