Shrewsbury Town In Advanced Talks To Sign Fulham's Nigerian Young Star
Nigerian midfielder Tayo Edun might end his association with Fulham before the close of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

Football Insider says Edun is in advanced talks with Shrewsbury Town over a permanent move to the Football League One club.

The 21-year-old is attracting interest from other Football League clubs but Shrewsbury Town are the favourites to land his services should he depart Craven Cottage.

Edun has appeared in seven official matches for Fulham's first team since making his professional debut in August 2016 and spent part of last season on loan at Ipswich Town.

He was an influential member of the England U19 squad that won the 2017 European U19 Championship and has caps for the Young Lions at U17, U18 and U20 levels.

One-time Nigerian Federation target Fejiri Okenabirhie and former Golden Eaglets invitee Daniel Udoh play for Shrewsbury Town.
