Former Manchester United Defender Olosunde Makes Domestic Debut In England
Former Manchester United starlet Matthew Olosunde played his first senior game in England as Rotherham United registered an impressive 2-1 road win against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon.

Wearing the number 22 jersey, the defender was one of three Nigeria-eligible players named in the starting line-up of the Millers by manager Paul Warne, the others being Freddie Ladapo and Michael Ihiekwe.

Olosunde, who was released by United on June 30, played the entire duration of the game and was particularly impressive .

Rotherham United had their first chance to open the scoring in the fourth minute when Olosunde teed up Clark Robertson 25 yards from goal but his effort went wide.

The 21-year-old created another chance in the 27th minute but the goalkeeper saved the shot taken by Matt Crooks.

Whilst at Manchester United, Olosunde was named on provisional rosters for Premier League games against Arsenal and Tottenham but didn't make the 18 for both games during the 2016-2017 season.
