Tottenham Confirm Eyoma's New Squad Number, Which Previously Belonged To KWP
Published: August 09, 2019Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the squad numbers to be worn by the first team players for the upcoming season.
Nigerian defender Timothy Eyoma has received a new shirt number and will be wearing the number 43 if he features for Spurs in the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup.
The teenager wore the number 53 on his back when he made his professional debut for Tottenham in an FA Cup clash against Tranmere Rovers back in January.
Last season, Eyoma was an unused substitute when Spurs faced Burnley (Premier League) and West Ham (League Cup), the other games he has been named in the 18 by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The young center back was not involved in all the five matches played by Spurs first team in pre-season.
Tottenham Hotspur's number 43 jersey previously belonged to Kyle Walker-Peters (KWP), Samuel Shashoua and Ryan Fredericks.
