Chelsea Insert Sell-On Clause Into Deal Taking Omeruo To Leganés
Chelsea have inserted a sell-on clause into the deal taking Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo to Leganes.

Spanish sports daily Dario AS says the Premier League side stand to pocket fifteen percent of any future transfer fees paid out for the central defender.

Leganes have agreed a deal with Chelsea , with the La Liga side set to pay 4.5 million euros to sign the Nigerian, less than three million euros contained in the purchase clause following his loan move to Spain last season.

The 25-year-old is expected to ink a five-year deal, tying him to Los Pepineros until at least the end of the 2023-2024 season.

Since joining Chelsea from Sunshine Stars in January 2012, he has embarked on seven loan spells at five different clubs: ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasimpa, Alanyaspor and Leganés.

Last season, Omeruo started 27 games in La Liga, logging  2,434 minutes.
