Published: August 12, 2019
The U18 Premier League season started last Saturday and allnigeriasoccer.com continues to unveil top Nigeria-eligible youngsters to watch during the campaign.
Having profiled Juventus youngster Iweru last week, we head back to England as we unveil an an up-and-coming versatile defender Jordan Aina.
Jordan, who is Ola Aina's younger brother, started his football career at the Chelsea Academy.
He signed a scholarship deal with the Blues in 2018 and he went on to feature in eleven U18 Premier League matches and three U18 Premier League Cup matches last season.
The London-born star often plays as a left-back but he can operate in multiple defensive positions just like his brother, Ola Aina.
The youngster is expected to feature prominently in Ed Brand's side this season, though, he must maintain consistent improvements in his game.
It remains unknown if he will follow Ola Aina's path by pledging allegiance to the Super Eagles of Nigeria despite his eligibility to represent the Three Lions of England.
