Watford's Nigeria-Eligible Striker Fatuga-Dada Dreams Of Playing At Wembley
Published: August 17, 2019Watford's Nigeria-eligible striker Adekite Fatuga-Dada has indicated her intention to play at Wembley Stadium and is hoping the Golden Girls qualify for a final in the new season.
The 22-year-old makes ends meet by working at Converse at the Wembley Outlet, which is close to the famous stadium.
Fatuga-Dada faces a tough task to achieve her ambition as Watford Ladies compete in the third tier of English football and will be up against much stronger opposition in the Women's FA Cup.
''I just walk by and think, 'Some of my friends have played there' and that it could be me one day,'' said Fatuga-Dada to Watford's official website.
''If we do well enough this season, I could be playing at Wembley. Why not? I go past on the train and see it and then again when I walk past, but to be on the pitch seeing the arch would be amazing.''
Adekite Fatuga-Dada, who had a brief spell at Arsenal before rejoining Watford in 2015, has represented England at U17 level.
