Published: August 22, 2019Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is proud of Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah following his brilliant start to the season at Leeds United, where he is spending the entirety of the 2019-2020 campaign.
Nketiah, who has Ghanaian background, made it two goals in as many games after netting the game-winning goal for Leeds United in their hard fought 1-0 victory over Brentford on Wednesday evening.
Prior to scoring on his home debut, the Arsenal-owned striker found the net against Salford City in the first round of the League Cup.
Abraham and Nketiah were teammates at the Chelsea Academy for seven years before the 20-year-old moved to the Emirates Stadium in 2015.
Writing on Instagram, Nketiah said after the game vs Brentford : ''Anyone call for a goal? Big 3 points at Elland Road tonight, Glory be to God.📞⚽️ 🙏🏾''.
Reacting to his post, Abraham stated : ''Lil bro I'm proud ''.
Abraham has had two different spells at Championship clubs, scoring 52 goals in 88 games combined for Bristol City and Aston Villa.
