Done Deal : Brentford's Nigerian-Born Winger Joins Rotherham United
EFL League One side Rotherham United have today completed the signing of Nigerian-born winger Chiedozie Ogbene for an undisclosed fee, subject to clearance from the EFL and the FA, informs the Millers on their official webpage.

The 22-year-old ended his 18-month association with Brentford after inking a three-year deal with Rotherham United.

During his time at Brentford, the former Everton youth-teamer appeared in nine official matches and spent a portion of last season on loan at  Exeter City.

Ogbene played for the youth teams of Tramore Athletic, College Corinthians and Kilreen Celtic before transferring to Everton.

In 2015, he moved to Irish club Cork City, whom he represented in the UEFA Youth League in 2016, before he was snapped up by Limerick the following year.

Former Flying Eagles invitee Freddie Ladapo, defenders Matthew Olosunde and Michael Ihiekwe play for Rotherham United's first team.
