Done Deal : Left-Footed Attacking Midfielder Aliyu Inks Multi-Year Almeria Contract

Spanish Segunda Division club UD Almeria have officially announced the signing of Nigerian attacking midfielder Isah Aliyu.

The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract that will keep him at the Andalusian club until the end of the 2023-2024 season.

The left-footed midfielder becomes the second Nigerian youngster signed by Almeria in the summer transfer window after Nigeria U23 international Valentine Ozornwafor.

Aliyu arrives Almeria from Armenian Premier League side Lori Vanadzor, where he spent eighteen months after transferring from Nigerian club Remo Stars.

In 50 appearances for Lori Vanadzor, he contributed to 22 goals (10 goals, 12 assists).

Meanwhile, Galatasaray loanee Ozornwafor has yet to make his competitive debut for Almeria after missing games against Racing Santander (Aug 24) and Huesca (Aug 31).
