NFF Target Eberechi Eze Receives First Call-Up To England U21 Squad
Published: September 03, 2019
The youngster was first ignored by Aidy Boothroyd while unveiling his squad for the encounters but the manager was forced to extend an invitation to the midfielder due to injuries picked up by Arsenal youngster Joe Willock and Dwight McNeil.
Eze made his debut for the European powerhouse against Italy U20 last year and he went on to feature in six more matches for the team.
West Brom loanee Grady Diangana was also handed a late call-up to Aidy Boothroyd's team.
This will come as a sad news to Super Eagles fans who have so much desire to see the youngster represent Nigeria in the nearest future.
