Arsenal's Balogun Nominated For August's Premier League 2 Player Of The Month Award

Arsenal youth team striker Folarin Balogun has emerged as one of the nominees for August's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for his performances for the Gunners as announced by Arsenal FC's official website, www.arsenal.com, on Friday.
Balogun an England youth international who recently pulled out of the country's U19 squad due to injury is eligible to play for Nigeria as his parents are originally from the west African country.
Balogun has scored four goals so far this season including a hat-trick on the opening day of the campaign..
Also nominated for the award is Balogun's teammate in the youth setup Emile Smith Rowe who has been named to Arsenal's first team squad for the 2019/2020 season.

Other contenders for the award for the prize in August include Harry Chapman (Blackburn Rovers), Billy Gilmour (Chelsea), Brandon Williams (Manchester United), James Garner (Manchester United) and Daniel Kemp (West Ham United).
The eventual winner, chosen by the Premier League Football Development panel, will be announced on Friday, September 13.
