'He Shoots And He Scores' - Chelsea Fans React As Abraham Equals Ronaldo's Goalscoring Record
Published: September 14, 2019
Chelsea recorded their second victory of the season after thrashing Wolves 5-2 at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues, who were 3-2 victors over Norwich in their first away victory before the international break, were rampant against Wolves and they gave the home side nothing to cheer after the encounter.
Fikayo Tomori scored the first goal of the night with a 35-yard screamer in the 31st minute before in-form striker Tammy Abraham scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 2-0 three minutes later.
In the 41st minute of the game, the young striker got his brace to equal Ronaldo and Dele Alli's record by becoming the third Premier League footballer aged 21 years or under to score twice or more in three successive games.
The striker added another goal in the 55th minute to become the youngest Chelsea player to score a hat-trick in Premier League history.
@CFCMod_: "Tammy Abraham is actually immense. He shoots and he scores. I can literally not ask for more as my striker. 5 goals in 3 games. WOW"
@CFCDaily: "Tammy Abraham has now scored more league goals than Morata did last season (5) and has also beaten Higuain's total of 5. Abraham didn't cost a Penny. #CFC"
@Dukeofmbaise: "As a die-hard Chelsea fan, I'm emotional right now. Tammy Abraham na man you be! #WOLCHE"
@CFCPys: "Tammy Abraham missed that penalty in the super cup and the mentality has made him want more, he wanted this spot, he wanted to be the man to prove everyone wrong and he has. 6 goals in 3 games. 3 braces in a row. Don't sleep on him this season. What an unbelievable performance."
@ItsUncleStephen: "Chelsea Fans sing with me Father Abraham scores many goals. Many goals scores Tammy Abraham He's scored 1 of them, then he scores 2. So How does he score them? Left foot Right foot Header Turn around, flick it in (Again) Tammy Abraham scores many goals....#WOLCHE"
@danlevene: "Don't look now, but Tammy Abraham tops the Premier League goalscoring charts."
@utdxtra: "Tammy Abraham's response on the pitch after being racially abused is superb."
@CFCMod_: "Tammy Abraham is actually taking the piss. What a way to bag your hat-trick, I'm honestly speechless at this point. I'm incredibly grateful to have him man."
@AlexGoldberg_: "Tammy Abraham just gave Jorginho his first legitimate assist in a Chelsea shirt. Some databases gave Jorginho credit for one against Sheffield United, but this is the first unanimous, official one."
@ESPNFC: "Tammy Abraham is the youngest player to score a hat trick for Chelsea in the Premier League (21 years, 347 days)."
@Squawka: "Tammy Abraham is the youngest player to score a Premier League hat-trick for Chelsea. They've finally found that No.9"
