'Every Player Is Important' - Arsenal Boss Suggests Saka Is Not On The Bench To Make Up The Numbers
Published: September 15, 2019
Arsenal are lacking one attack-minded player for their ongoing match against Watford with Alexandre Lacazette ruled out until October due to an ankle injury.
Nigerian winger Bukayo Saka has been included in the Gunners matchday squad for the first time since January 5,2019 and he is joined on the bench by three other young players in the shape of Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Gabriel Martinelli.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has suggested that the young players are not in the matchday 18 to make up the numbers.
Speaking to Sky Sports few minutes before the start of the game, the Spaniard said : ''We need every player, really we don't plan to have some injuries but they are coming.
''It's very important for us, every player we have today here. There can be some chances also to play, the first eleven, the young players on the bench.
''We are going to use different situations, different options tactically and individually''.

If Saka steps out onto the Vicarage Road Stadium turf as a substitute, it would be his fifth appearance for the Gunners first team.
