Arsenal's Two-Goal Hero Balogun Outshines Bellerín In Four-Goal Thriller Vs Wolves U23
Nigerian striker Folarin Balogun was the star of the show as Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw in a Premier League 2 clash at at New Bucks Head on Friday evening.

Gunners first team star Héctor Bellerín and summer signing from Celtic Kieran Tierney stepped up their recovery from injuries by taking part in a game for the first time this season.

But it was Balogun that stole the limelight with a brace for Steve Bould’s side, taking his tally to six goals from six league appearances.

His first goal arrived just after forty seconds when he slotted past Sondergaard with the first attack of the game and he was denied a second goal eight minutes before half-time when the Wolves goalie raced off his line and stopped his shot.

Balogun showed exactly why he is being tipped by make his senior debut in the coming weeks when he made it 2-1 in the 69th minute after Bruno Jordão had restored parity for the hosts.

Taylor Perry's close range strike at minute 91 grabbed a share of the points for Wolves.

Tobi Omole came off the bench to replace Kieran Tierney in the 62nd minute while Balogun played the full game.

Arsenal, who currently sit second in the Premier League table behind Everton on goal difference, travel to Liverpool next weekend.
