Tammy Abraham Compared To Chelsea Great Drogba By Former Tottenham Striker
Tammy Abraham has been named in Garth Crooks Premier League Team of the Week following his brilliant strike against Southampton in Chelsea's latest game in the English top-flight.

Crooks, who played for Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United among others, has drawn comparisons between Abraham and Chelsea great Didier Drogba, saying the Stamford Bridge outfit would find it difficult to keep him at the club if he keeps firing on all cylinders.

While the Ivorian netted 164 goals in 381 appearances for Chelsea, Abraham has scored only nine goals in 14 games.

On Abraham, Crooks wrote : ''It was the great Jimmy Greaves who said that football is a funny old game. Well, who would have thought that Chelsea fans would be chanting the name of Tammy Abraham in the same manner they used to celebrate Didier Drogba.

''That is because the young striker is leading the line in a similar manner to the Ivory Coast legend. If Abraham continues to develop at this rate, manager Frank Lampard will have another problem on his hands - keeping him at Stamford Bridge''.

Abraham has been recalled to the England squad ahead of European Championship qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria, and would become cap-tied to the Three Lions if he features in any of the two games.
