Watford's Success To Miss Historic Game Against Tottenham Hotspur
Published: October 18, 2019Nigeria international Isaac Success will not be available for selection when Watford face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, manager Quique Sánchez Flores has confirmed.
There is a historical dimension to the game as this is the first time the Hornets will do battle with the North London outfit in their new stadium.
Success, who is recovering from a groin complaint, has started running exercises and the trip to Tottenham Hotspur has come too soon for him.
Providing an injury update on the squad, Quique Sánchez Flores told Watford's official website : ''We have Capoue, Deeney, Prödl and Success out, but we try to find a good solution.
''This is our mentality. We have others ready to play. We cannot depend on one player. We have lots of players with high quality and skill.''
Success has not featured for Watford since August 31 when he lasted 19 minutes on the pitch in a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.
