Official : Two Players Sign New Contracts With Chelsea

Through their official website, Chelsea have announced Henry Lawrence and Dion Rankine have both penned their first professional contracts with the club.

Born in 2001, Lawrence joined The Blues as an U9 having progressed through their development centre programme.

This season, he has represented Chelsea in the UEFA Youth League, U18 Premier League and Premier League 2, and made 21 appearances throughout the 2018/19 season.

Rankine has been at Chelsea for three years after joining from Cambridge United as an U14.

The 2002-born player is eligible to play internationally for England and Jamaica but has no caps to date.

He was a first-year scholar at the start of this season before he was offered a professional contract.
