Chelsea Loanee Victor Moses Returns To Fenerbahce Matchday Squad 62 Days Later
Published: October 21, 2019
Sunday, October 20 saw the return of Victor Moses to the Fenerbahce matchday squad after recovering from a muscle injury.
The Chelsea loanee watched proceedings from the bench as the Yellow Canaries beat Denizlispor 2-1 at the Denizli Atatürk Stadyumu (Denizli).
It was initially reported that the injury Moses suffered against Gaziantep FK on August 19th would keep him on the sidelines for five weeks but the right winger eventually returned to the matchday squad 62 days later.
The former Nigeria international missed six consecutive games in the Turkish Super Lig against Basaksehir, Trabzonspor, Alanyaspor, Ankaragucu, Galatasaray and Antalyaspor prior to yesterday's match.
Fenerbahce will face Tarsus Idman Yurdu in the Turkish Cup on Wednesday, October 30 and Moses may be given a run-out in that game.
The 28-year-old has 17 games under his belt for the Istanbul club in all competitions since his loan move from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
