Fenerbahce Coach Mulls Over Starting Role For Chelsea Loanee Moses
Published: October 25, 2019According to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal is preparing to include Victor Moses in the starting line-up in upcoming matches in the Super Lig.
Yanal, who is an apostle of wing play, has not been able to count on the services of the former Nigeria international since the opening day of the season when he suffered a muscle injury.
Moses has returned to full training and was named in the matchday squad for the last round of matches in the Turkish top-flight against Denizlispor but was not utilized off the bench.
With uncertainty surrounding the fitness of Max Kruse, manager Yanal is thinking of reinstating the 2013 African Cup of Nations winner in the starting line-up when the Yellow Canaries face Konyaspor on Saturday.
The Chelsea-owned winger has not kicked a ball in a competitive game since August 19.
According to the official website of the Turkish Football Federation, Moses' loan deal with Fenerbahce expires on May 31, 2020.
