'I Am A Big Fan Of La Liga' - Barcelona Linked Striker Osimhen Wants To Play In Spain
Published: November 12, 2019Victor Osimhen could depart Lille after one season with reports linking him with a move to Barcelona and teams in the English Premier League.
The Nigeria international was signed from Sporting Charleroi for a transfer fee in the region of 12 million euros and several big clubs have taken note of his performances since his move to France.
In 17 outings across all competitions this season, Osimhen has scored nine goals including seven in the Ligue 1 and two in the Champions League, and has provided two assists.
The Barcelona linked striker is open to the idea of moving to a Spanish club, he has said in a recent interview with L'Equipe published by Insidefutbol.com
''I am a big fan of La Liga. It’s my dream to play there,'' the Super Eagles star disclosed.
Osimhen reported for international duty in Uyo on Monday ahead of tomorrow's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
