Norwich City Striker Who Wants To Play For Nigeria Scores Brace Against Everton U18
Norwich City have advanced to the quarterfinal of the U18 Premier League Cup following their 3-0 rout of Everton at USM Finch Farm on Saturday, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Canaries starlet Tyrese Omotoye was the star of the show after scoring a brace in the first half.

Norwich City took the lead inside one minute as Omotoye capitalised on a loose ball inside Everton's penalty area and slotted past goalkeeper Jack Barrett.

Just after the half-hour mark, the number nine scored again to increase the gap between the two teams, before Dronfield ended the game as a contest when he made it 3-0 with 19 minutes remaining.

With his double against the Toffees, Omotoye is the leading scorer in the U18 Premier League Cup with five goals to his name from three appearances.

The 17-year-old tallied his first of the competition against Fulham in September and scored twice in a 3-0 win vs Sunderland the following month.

Omotoye, who was born in Belgium to Nigerian parents but was raised in the United Kingdom, is willing to play for Nigeria's youth teams.
