'Nothing Concrete' - The Truth About Heerenveen Winger Ejike's Link To Ligue 1 Club Revealed
Published: December 09, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that there is nothing concrete in reports that SC Heerenveen winger Chidera Ejike is set to switch the Dutch Eredivisie for the French Ligue 1 in the coming months.
Ejike has received a lot of hype from the local and foreign press since his summer move to SC Heerenveen, which suggests that he may be too good to play in the Eredivisie.
Though it is a given that several unnamed European clubs are keeping tabs on the Gee-Lec Football Academy product, no bids have been made for the exciting winger, not to speak of a fee being placed on his head.
''It is not correct that Marseille have made a bid for him. Chidera is a good player, many teams are showing interest but nothing concrete yet,'' a top source close to Ejike told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Ejike has adapted quickly in the Netherlands, two years after he first moved to Europe, contributing to 8 goals (7 goals, 1 assist) from 16 matches for SC Heerenveen in all competitions.
The 21-year-old is under contract with SC Heerenveen until the end of the 2022-2023 season.
