Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati became the youngest goalscorer in
UEFA Champions League history after he got on the scoresheet against

Fati was 1
year and 102 days younger than Nigeria's goalscorer since the
competition was rebranded as the Champions League in the 92-93 season.
Former

youngest Nigerian player to score in the Champions League, aged 18
years and 142 days when he found the net against Bayer Leverkusen on
March 19, 2003.
Against HNK Hajduk Split on
March 15, 1995, Nwankwo Kanu then on the books of Ajax Amsterdam, opened
the scoring after 34 minutes, making him the second youngest Nigerian
to score in the Champions League, aged 18 years, 7 months and 11 days.
In
third place is Yakubu Aiyegbeni, who was aged 19 years, 10 months and 2

fourth youngest Nigerian player (19 years, 10 months and 26 days) to
score in the competition, while Kelechi Iheanacho completes the top
five, aged 19 years, 11 months and 11 days when he scored Manchester
