Flying Eagles Hopeful Scores In Fourth Consecutive League Game For Norwich City U18
Published: January 04, 2020Flying Eagles hopeful Tyrese Omotoye was on target as Norwich City and Leicester City played out an eight-goal thriller in an U18 Premier League game at Loftus Training Centre on Saturday afternoon.
The teenager has shown signs of positive things to come if he is handed first team opportunities in future, having scored in each of his last four league matches for the Canaries U18s.
Omotoye started his goalscoring run against Fulham on November 2, before netting in back-to-back games against Norwich City and Reading.
Against Leicester City, he equalised on the half-hour mark, tapping into an empty net two minutes after Sidnei Tavares had given the visitors the lead from the spot.
The striker was substituted at half time which prevented him from getting on the scoresheet again.
Having impressed over the course of the 2018-2019 season and starting this campaign in fine form, Omotoye was rewarded with his first professional contract in October 2019.
