Exciting Winger Alebiosu Joins Miguel Azeez, Okonkwo In Arsenal Treatment Room
Published: January 05, 2020
Arsenal have suffered another injury blow after defender Ryan Alebiosu picked up an undisclosed injury in the U18 Premier League clash with Chelsea yesterday, Gunners youth-team guru Jeorge Bird writes on his blog.
Manager Ken Gillard is likely to miss the services of the youngster when they tackle Southampton in the FA Youth Cup on Thursday.
Arsenal are already without two Nigerians long term due to varying afflictions: goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo has yet to kick a ball this season while Miguel Azeez recently joined the treatment room.
Alebiosu has featured in eight of ten league games the U-18s has played so far this season prior to the injury.
Ovie Ejeheri, Bukayo Saka, Mazeed Ogungbo, Daniel Oyegoke and Nathan-Butler Oyedeji are fit and eligible to represent the Gunners in the FA Youth Cup.

The winger was replaced in the early stages of the second period of the league game at the Cobham Training Centre, and it has now come to light that it was an injury-enforced substitution.
