Exclusive : Manchester United's Nigerian Defender Wanted By Tottenham Hotspur
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Nigerian starlet Junior Nkwonta is preparing to bid farewell to English Premier League giants Manchester United.

Nkwonta has to look for a new employer ahead of the 2020-2021 season as he is one of the Academy players not offered a scholarship by the Red Devils.

All U17 players are required to start next season on a scholarship arrangement before they are permitted to sign their first professional contract on or after their 17th birthday.

A lot of Premier League clubs have offered Nkwonta trials but he has agreed to train with Tottenham Hotspur first with a view to a potential deal.

The promising teenager was named to the Manchester United squad for the prestigious SuperCupNI (Junior Section) in 2019.

Nkwonta has been described as a mobile center back who is very strong on the ball, technically good and may have a future playing as a defensive midfielder or right-back in the long term.
