Victor Moses' Omission From Fenerbahce Training Camp Sparks Fresh Rumours Of Chelsea Return
Published: January 06, 2020
Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce have announced their roster for a training camp in Antalya, ahead of the resumption of the second half of the 2019-2020 season.
One of the notable names left out of the traveling party to Antalya is former Nigeria national-teamer Victor Moses and this has sparked fresh rumours that he could return to parent club Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Turkish newspaper Hurriyet has claimed that Moses has been declared surplus to requirements for the second half of the 2019-2020 season and the Yellow Canaries are planning to sign his replacement before the transfer window closes.
Having said that, it is thought that the Nigerian was omitted from the training camp because he's still recovering from an injury he suffered last month.
Moses has missed more than half of the games played by Fenerbahce in the Super Lig, ten in total, due to a muscle-related injury he first suffered on the opening day of the season against Gaziantep FK.
The 29-year-old returned to action on October 26, only to suffer a relapse after six matches.
