Published: January 15, 2020
Bukayo Saka is in line to be deployed at left-back when Arsenal take on Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday, January 18, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Gunners have confirmed through their official website, arsenal.com that Bosnia international Sead Kolasinac is definitely out of the match against the Blades owing to injury.
Providing a fitness update on Kolasinac ahead of the game at the Emirates, Arsenal stated : "Left thigh strain. Being assessed ahead of next week, but will not be available for Sheffield United".
Saka deputised for the injured Kolasinac against Everton, Bournemouth and Chelsea, and came on as his replacement in the games with Manchester City and Manchester United.
The England U19 international's preferred position is left winger but has showed his versatility by appearing in a left-back role for the Gunners youth teams and Young Lions.
Nigerian left-back Tolaji Bola has trained with Arsenal's first team in recent weeks and traveled with the squad for the Premier League game against Bournemouth in December as the nineteenth man.
