Sheffield Utd, Burnley, Leicester, Watford Keeping Tabs On Ex-Chelsea Striker, Who Is Alaba's Cousin
Published: January 16, 2020Several Premier League clubs are targeting a move for promising Nigerian striker Ronald Sobowale, according to reports emanating from the English press.
talkSPORT says Burnley and Sheffield United are keeping tabs on Sobowale, who has a famous cousin in the shape of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
Leicester City and Watford have also monitored the 22-year-old this season with a view to making a move for his services.
But it is thought that Middlesbrough are in the driving seat for his signature as he is currently undergoing trials with Jonathan Woodgate's team.
Sobowale has been in blistering form this season for non-league club Whyteleafe, scoring 23 goals in 25 matches.
He played on the same Chelsea youth team as England internationals Tammy Abraham and Dominic Solanke, and departed Stamford Bridge because he was not offered a scholarship.
Swansea City have also been credited with an interest in Sobowale, who was born in London.
