Official : Omagbemi Joins 16th Club In Pro Career After Move To Oskarshamns AIK In Sweden
Published: January 27, 2020Swedish Division One Sodra outfit Oskarshamns AIK have confirmed the capture of Nigerian striker Dudu Omagbemi.
The experienced frontman was offered a one-year deal after impressing in a friendly game against the Finnish Players Union in which he scored two goals.
A very popular figure in Indian football, Omagbemi has also worn the colours of teams based in Malaysia, Poland, Hungary and Finland.
Oskarshamns AIK will be his sixteenth club since he became a professional, having previously turned out for Sporting Goa, Dempo, Salgaocar Goa, Penang, Wisla Krakow, Debrecen, Kecskemét TE, KuPS, Honka, East Bengal, Pune City, FC Goa, Mohun Bagan, FC Haka and Chennaiyin FC.
Omagbemi was called up to train with the Nigeria squad ahead of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
2009 U17 World Cup Golden Ball winner Sani Emmanuel played for Oskarshamns AIK in 2015.
