Alfredo Pedulla : Livorno Set To Announce Capture Of Former Inter Milan Midfielder Awua
Published: January 29, 2020According to transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla , Italian Serie B club Livorno are on the brink of announcing the signing of Theophilus Awua.
The central midfielder is owned by Spezia but currently playing on loan at Bari in the Serie C.
A product of Football College Abuja, Awua has been in Italy since the 2016-2017 season and previously spent time on loan at Inter Milan, Juve Stabia and Rende.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed game time this term, making 17 appearances in total for The Biancorossi, scoring one goal against Catanzaro on matchday 11.
With 13 points from 21 matches, Livorno are the bottom team in the Italian second-tier, so Awua has a big task on his hands to help the club climb out of the relegation zone.
They host Ascoli in their next league game on Saturday, February 1.
