Super Eagle Awaziem Has A Day To Forget As Barcelona Captain Messi Reaches Two New Milestones

Porto loanee Chidozie Awaziem had a day to forget as CD Leganes were thrashed 5-0 by Barcelona in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey on Thursday evening.
In his first ever appearance against the Azulgranas, the Nigeria international went the distance while international and club teammate Kenneth Omeruo watched proceedings from the bench.

Griezmann opened the scoring after playing the ball through his legs, and for the third goal Messi skipped past the Nigerian before his deflected shot hit the back of the net.
With 13 minutes remaining, Arthur extended Barcelona's lead to 4-0, smashing the ball in after an attempted clearance from Awaziem fell kindly to him and for the last goal of the game netted by Messi in the 89th minute , the Leganes number 12 was badly positioned.
