Chelsea Loanee Victor Moses Named In Inter Milan's Europa League Squad
Published: February 03, 2020
Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan have submitted their squad list for the knockout rounds of the Europa League to UEFA, with Chelsea-owned wing-back Victor Moses making the cut.
As per UEFA rules, clubs are allowed to register a maximum of three new eligible players for the Champions League and Europa League knockout rounds and it no longer matters if those players have already played in the competition for another club, or for another club still in the competition.
Inter's three new signings from the English Premier League Moses, Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen have been named in the List A containing 22 players.
The former Nigeria international has been allocated the number 11 jersey for the Europa League, same number he uses domestically in the Serie A and Coppa Italia.
The Nerazzurri will face Bulgarian club Ludogorets in the round of 32 on February 20 and the return leg comes up at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (Milano) a week later.
Previously, Moses appeared in ten Europa League matches for Chelsea and Fenerbahce, scoring four goals and producing an assist.
The 29-year-old was a key member of the Chelsea squad that won the Europa League in 2013.
