Done Deal : Teenage Nigerian Striker Joins FK Kauno Zalgiris In Lithuania
Through a statement on their official website, Lithuanian top division club FK Kauno Zalgiris have confirmed the signing of teenage Nigerian striker Emmanuel David.

The 18-year-old, whose parent club is Fremad Amager in Denmark, will be spending the entire 2020 season on loan at FK Kauno Žalgiris.

A product of Ikon Football Academy, David arrived in Fremad Amager last summer and has made only appearance for the second-tier club - against Naestved Boldklub in November.

Having impressed the coaching staff with his speed and technique at a training camp in Cyprus, he was offered a contract by FK Kauno Zalgiris.

Commenting on the capture of the Nigerian, manager Rokas Garastas said : " Emmanuel fits in very well with our concept. He maintains his intensity, can play at high speed and is capable of one-on-one play."

David featured for FK Kauno Zalgiris in their last friendly game against Metta.
