Arsenal's Rising Star Bukayo Saka Receives Medical All-clear To Face Newcastle United
Published: February 14, 2020
English-born winger cum left-back of Nigerian parentage, Bukayo Saka has received the medical all-clear to be named in the Arsenal squad for their upcoming Premier League match against Newcastle United.
The England U19 international was initially rated as doubtful for Sunday's fixture at the Emirates Stadium after he was forced off at halftime vs Burnley in the Gunners last match before the winter break.
Saka has overcome his injury concerns and took part in full training during the warm-weather training camp in Dubai.
Providing an injury update on Saka, Arsenal's official website wrote : "Available for selection after being substituted during Burnley (a) following knock to right leg."
Should Saka feature against The Magpies, it will be his 24th match in all competitions for Arsenal's first team this term.
After their Premier League game against Newcastle, Arsenal, who are ten points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the standings, will face Olympiakos in the round of 32 of the Europa League next Thursday.
