Sodje Makes Manchester City U18 Debut In 5-2 Win Against Reading

Promising Nigerian youngster Tai Sodje made his competitive debut for Manchester City U18s as they hammered Reading 5-2 to reach the final of the Premier League Cup on Saturday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Tai comes from a famous footballing family, with uncles Efe and Sam Sodje representing the Super Eagles before hanging up their boots.
In the last switch made by Manchester City's U18 coach Gareth Taylor at Bearwood Park, Sodje replaced Sammy Robinson with seven minutes left on the clock.

A product of the Sheffield United Academy, Tai Sodje turned down the chance to join Liverpool and Everton before transferring to Manchester City in 2015.
In the final of the Premier League Cup, Manchester City will face Stoke City, who beat Chelsea in the other semifinal.
