Getafe's Nigeria International Etebo Makes Full Debut In 2-1 Defeat To Barcelona Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has finally made his full debut for Getafe in a Spanish La Liga game on Saturday, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The Stoke City loanee had earlier made three substitute appearances for the Madrid-based club since joining in January, versus Leganes and Real Betis in the top flight and against Badalona in a Copa Del Ray game.

However, manager Pepe Bordalas opted to name the 24-year-old amongst the side that started the 2-1 loss to the Catalan giants this evening, with the midfielder playing for 67 minutes before making way for Amath Ndiaye at Camp Nou.

Antoine Griezmann and Sergi Roberto were on target for the hosts before ángel Rodriguez grabbed a consolation goal for Getafe.

Etebo's loan deal with the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez-outfit runs until the end of this season, with an option to purchase inserted into the deal.

Despite the defeat, Getafe remain in the hunt for a Champions League qualification slot in the division, sitting third with 42 points, and Etebo can get a chance to make his Europa League debut when they face Ajax on Thursday.
