Official : Chelsea Confirm Signing Of Nigeria-Eligible Striker
Published: February 21, 2020Through a statement on their official webpage, English Premier League side Chelsea have finally confirmed the signing of Norwegian-born Nigerian striker Bryan Fiabema.
The Blues and Tromso had reached an agreement for the transfer of the Norway U17 international since early January but paperwork held up the deal.
Shortly after Fiabema celebrated his seventeen birthday, he put pen to paper on a professional contract with Chelsea.
The highly-rated teenager has been described as very good with his back to goal and is capable of bringing others into the game with his link-up play and intelligent movement.
He is in line to make his first competitive appearance for Chelsea when their U18 team face Brighton & Hove in the U18 Premier League this evening at Cobham.
Fiabema shares the same agent as Chelsea's Nigeria-eligible duo Ike Ugbo and Faustino Anjorin.
