French Clubs, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Roma, Napoli Run The Rule Over Arsenal Winger Saka Vs Olympiakos
Published: February 22, 2020A plethora of European clubs sent their representatives to the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki in Piraeus to monitor the Europa League round of 32 clash between Olympiakos and Arsenal on Thursday night.
Anglo-Nigerian winger Bukayo Saka was in action for the entirety of the game and provided the assist for the winning goal netted by Alexandre Lacazette as Mikel Arteta's side ran out 1-0 winners.
According to Greek journalist Gian Chorianopoulos, Leicester City, West Ham, Sheffield United, Aston Villa and Newcastle United scouts watched the game.
And from Italy came Inter Milan, AC Milan, Napoli and AS Roma while Monaco, Lille and Lyon also posted scouts to run the rule over the top talents on both teams.
A raft of clubs are believed to be monitoring the situation of Saka, with his contract at Arsenal set to run out at the end of next season.
The versatile winger has been a shining light for the Gunners in this season's Europa League, scoring 2 goals while producing five assists in five appearances.
