Man Utd's Ogunneye, Chelsea Captain Chibueze On Target At Next Gen Mumbai Cup With Alan Shearer Watching

Two Nigerian youngsters have impressed for their respective teams at the ongoing PL-ISL Next Generation Mumbai Cup, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Versatile United youngster Habeeb Ogunneye, who is comfortable playing in multiple positions on the right flank, showed his goalscoring potential in his side's 4-0 rout of FC Goa on the opening day of the tournament, scoring in the 50th minute of the contest.
That same day Monday, February 24, Chelsea captain Chinonso Chibueze netted a crucial equaliser before The Blues went on to defeat Reliance Foundation Young Champs 3-1.
Ogunneye was named in the starting line-up as the Red Devils narrowly lost 1-0 to Chelsea in an all-Premier League affair on the second day, before the Old Trafford side registered a comprehensive 5-1 win vs Bengaluru FC.
Meanwhile, Chelsea made it three wins in three as they beat Southampton 2-0, thanks to efforts from Ato Ampah and Jack Phillips.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United have sent their U14 teams to participate in the PL-ISL Next Generation Mumbai Cup.
Former Southampton and Newcastle United hero Alan Shearer is surely keeping an eye on the exciting youngsters as he is currently in Mumbai on the invitation of the organizers.
