AEK Athens Director Of Football Runs The Rule Over Eredivisie Top Dribbler Ejuke
Published: March 14, 2020AEK Athens Director of Football Ilija Ivic was in the stands during SC Heerenveen's 3-1 loss to Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie last weekend.
To10.gr says Ivic went to the Netherlands to see a training center and check out some players in preparation for the summer transfer window.
The Serbia talent spotter would have certainly monitored Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke who proved a handful for the Ajax Amsterdam defenders including ex-Manchester United star Daley Blind and Argentina international Nicolás Tagliafico.
The former Valerenga man has a contract with SC Heerenveen until June 2023 but he's being linked with a departure when the transfer window reopens for business with clubs in France credited with an interest.
Ejuke is the top dribbler in the Dutch top-flight with 176 successful take-ons and is having his most successful season in terms of goals scored and assists provided.
The 22-year-old has netted 10 goals across all competitions and set up six others in 29 matches.
