Only one player is ahead of Glasgow Rangers star Joe Aribo in the ranking of  highest scoring Nigerian midfielders in the European top-tier leagues at the moment, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

With four goals from 23 matches in the Albanian Kategoria Superiore, FK Bylis Ballsh's Odirah Ntephe has the honour of being the highest scoring Nigerian midfielder.

FK Bylis Ballsh have not lost a game Odirah got on the scoresheet, drawing twice against FK Partizani and thrashing Flamurtari.

There's a two-way tie for second place, with Glasgow Rangers Joe Aribo and FK Senica's Peter Eneji having three goals each to their names.

Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City), Vincent Onovo and Obinna Nwobodo (both Ujpest), Abdul Zubairu (AS Trencin), Ovbokha Agboyi (NK Bravo), Frank Onyeka (FC Midtjylland), Ramon Azeez (Granada) and Michael Omoh (FC Poli Iasi) are joint fourth with two goals each.
